Common questions

Do I need upholstery or leather experience?

No, the methods are taught. If you sew, tailor, upholster or do other precise work with your hands, you will pick it up faster.

Where does the training happen?

Our New York base. Plan on roughly a week there, working hands-on with real furniture.

Which parts of Connecticut are you hiring for?

It depends on where you live and how far you will drive. We settle your territory with you before day one.

Is it a job or a partnership?

You get the Connecticut terms in writing before you agree to anything. Raise the question in your first email and we will answer it.

Do I need a car?

Yes. You will be driving to homes and businesses, so we need you to have a reliable vehicle and a valid license.

What should I send?

Your town, any sewing or hands-on work, whether you have a license and vehicle, and why this trade appeals to you.
