Measure the seat itself. An old cushion has likely shrunk and reads short.

Length

Along the front edge, from one wall or bench end to the other.

Depth

From the seat's front edge back to the wall.

Thickness

Usually 2 to 4 inches. Tell us if a sill limits it.

Shape

Angles or curves? Take a photo straight down at the seat.
