Start small

A damaged seat is rarely a finished seat

One cigarette hole, one slash from a bag buckle or one seam that has let go does not mean the whole cover has reached the end. The rest of the panel is usually sound. Bar furniture repair deals with the damaged spot and leaves everything around it alone, which keeps the piece in service and keeps the money for the seats that really do need new covers. We look at your photos and tell you which group each piece belongs in before anything is booked.

What we fix

On the cover, and under it

The left column is what guests see. The right column is what makes a repaired seat fail again if nobody looks at it.

Not just the seats

The rest of the room gets the same treatment

Bar furniture repair CT rooms need usually spills over from the upholstery to the wood around it.

Stools that rock

A wobble is almost always a loose joint or rail, not the seat. Tightened and reglued.

Booth end panels

The exposed ends take chair backs and service carts. Dents and splits repaired.

Table tops and edges

Rings, scratches and chipped corners brought back to an even finish.

Bar front kick panels

Scuffed by shoes every shift. Touched in instead of stripped.

Footrails

Worn finish around the rail where every shoe lands.

Lounge chair arms

The first place a leather chair shows its age. Cleaned, filled and recolored.

Before and after

Repaired, not replaced

Each of these kept its original cover. The damage was dealt with and the color blended to the panel around it.

Straight answers

When repair is the wrong job

Some damage is not worth fixing, and we would rather say so than do work that lets you down a season later. Bar furniture repair CT owners ask about usually falls in the right column, but these four do not.

Bonded coversThey peel in sheets; nothing holds them down.
Hardened vinylIf it cracks again when flexed, it needs a new cover.
Frames repaired twiceSplit rails that have already been screwed back together.
Third repairsA seat fixed twice belongs in the recover column.
How it works

From photos to a repaired room

For anything that needs new covers instead, see bar furniture reupholstery or stool reupholstery. For color that has drifted across the room, see bar furniture restoration.

How it works

  1. Photos and a count

A close-up of each damaged piece and a wider shot of the room.

  2. Sorted into groups

Repair, recover or replace, piece by piece.

  3. Priced

A figure per piece and one for the batch.

  4. Repaired and matched

Color blended to the panel around each repair.

Will a repaired burn still show?

Not at normal distance. The charred edge is trimmed, the hole is filled level and the grain and color are rebuilt over it.

Can you fix one seat without doing the whole run?

Yes. A single seat is a normal job; the batch price simply improves as the count goes up.

Do you repair wood as well as upholstery?

Yes. Table edges and tops, chair frames, legs, rails and booth end panels can be done with the seating.

When should we recover instead?

When a cover is bonded and peeling, the vinyl has hardened, or the same seat has already been repaired twice.

How do I get a price for bar furniture repair CT wide?
