Three places a couch fails

Problems come from the seat, the frame or the cover. How it feels when you sit points to which, and that sets the repair. Most couch repair CT jobs touch one of the three, not a whole new couch.

The seatA dipped middle, flat cushions or springs you can feel: foam and support need work.
The frameAn arm that wobbles, a leg that rocks or a creak when you sit: we check the frame and tighten its joints.
The coverFading, burns, scratches, splits or threadbare fabric: the cover is repaired, recolored or replaced.

Six visible problems, three hidden causes

Some problems need less than a repair

Faint scratches and dull patches on leather often clear up with cleaning and conditioning, and flat cushions may only need new foam. The photos tell us which. Related: sofa cushion replacement, scratch repair and seat cushions.

Common questions

Couch Repair FAQ

Questions that come up before booking couch repair CT customers need.

My couch sags in the middle. Can that be fixed?

In most cases. A sag usually comes from flattened cushion foam or worn support beneath the seat, and either one can be replaced without recovering the couch.

Do you work on fabric couches, or only leather?

Both. The couch repair CT customers book with us covers leather, vinyl and fabric: seams, foam, frames and a new cover when one is needed.

One arm wobbles. Can it be repaired?

Often it can. A loose arm generally means a frame joint has worked free, so we open the frame, check it and tighten it.

Is an older couch worth fixing?

Usually, when the frame is sound. A well-built older couch with new foam or a repaired cover can last longer than a new one.

How do I get a quote?

Send a photo of the full couch and one of the problem area by text to (347) 310-7483 or by email to office@leatherrestorepro.com, or fill in the free estimate form.
